January | Annual soil test for lawn treatment customers
February | Pre-Spring lawn treatments begin before mowing season starts.
March-May | Mowing season begins early March. Start a once per week morning watering routine. Spring lawn treatments start as grass starts growing.
June-August | Many lawns are under heat stress. Weekly watering routine is extra important. Mowing height is increased to 3.5-4.5" for Fescue lawns as temperatures exceed 80°. Prime season for aeration for Bermuda lawns. Summer lawn treatments continue.
Late August-October | Prime season for aeration & overseeding for Fescue lawns. Fall lawn treatments continue.
Late November-December | As mowing season ends, it's time for leaf clean ups to keep your lawn clear and healthy for the Winter. Final lawn treatments before winter. Gutter cleaning also available.
Yes. Hardin Valley and Karns are our primary service areas were we are likely already in your neighborhood. We service many subdivisions in this area including Hayden Farms, Greenbrook, The Haven, The Reserve at Hickory Creek, Sonesta, Towering Oaks, Creek Bend Farms, Summit Place, Centennial Village and many other subdivisions near Shaad Rd, Ball Rd, Oak Ridge Highway and W Emory Rd.
We mow your lawn, trim/edge and blow off all hard surfaces such as driveway, sidewalk, front porch and patios.
To determine pricing, we have 3 different terrain types to categorize your yard (completely flat yard, minor slopes and steep slopes). A completely flat yard would have no slopes, hills, banks or drainage ditches. A yard with minor slopes would have minor slopes, a small hill, small bank or could have a drainage ditch. The minor slopes would be easily walkable and accessible with a ride on mower. A yard with steep slopes would have difficult to mow slopes, hills, banks or drainage ditches that could be challenging to walk on and balance along with difficult areas to access with a ride on mower. Do you have areas of your yard that are difficult to walk on with flip-flops? If yes, its likely a steep slope. If no, its likely a flat yard or has minor slopes.
Our lawn mowing pricing tool is based on your total property size, not your lawn square footage. The easiest way to determine your property size is to search your address on Google then click on your past listing for your home on Realtor.com or Zillow.com in the search results. Both websites will show data on your total property size which you can input on the instant pricing tool on our website. If you feel this information is inaccurate, just mention this in the notes within the instant pricing tool and we're happy to do a manual quote when we see your information come in.
Yes, we keep our mowing routes and your mowing day consistent so you can anticipate us coming each week/biweekly with the exception of rain delays.
You'll get an "on my way" text when we're driving to your property (usually at least 5-10 minute notice) to bring pets inside, clean up hoses etc. along with an after photo text to show completion of your mowing service for peace of mind.
Once you pay for your first mow for $29, your card will be stored on file for future weekly/biweekly mowing service. After each completed service, your card on file will be automatically billed. There's no contract and you can cancel anytime.
For yards under 10,000 sq ft, our pricing is $45 for weekly mowing service and $50 for biweekly. This includes mowing, edging, trimming and clipping clean up. You can use our instant pricing tool to verify your mowing price. Most yards, especially in subdivisions, fall under this pricing. Keep in mind, additional fees could apply for unique yards with steep slopes, corner lots or with areas that are difficult to mow. For yards between 10,000 sq ft and 1 acre, our pricing starts at $65 per service and we recommend using our instant price tool to get an exact price which will be based on your yard size and terrain type.
We very seldom have to move your service day due to weather however when necessary, we may move your service +1 or -1 day with heavy rain.
After you get your instant price on the website and pay for your first mow online, a team member will reach out to schedule your first mow. We can get you on a route as quickly as 1-5 days, sometimes the same day. If you don't need mowing service quite yet, you can still sign up online and we will get you on a route in a couple weeks when your lawn is ready to be mowed again.
